Drinking water

The Brita® Advantage

Brita logoFor over 20 years, consumers have chosen Brita® water filtration products to provide great-tasting water in their homes. It’s no surprise that 94% of people are aware of the Brita® name and 62% of people say that Brita® is the brand most associated with water filtration.1 Yet finding great tasting, fresh-filtered water away from home has been a challenge, typically filled by bottled water or awkward five-gallon office jugs. These options can be costly and environmentally harmful.

The Brita® Hydration Station offers the perfect solution for staying hydrated, bringing great-tasting Brita® filtered water to away-from-home locations like offices, schools, universities, fitness centers…  anywhere that people on the go need water!

Advanced Filtration System

The Brita® Hydration Station™ includes an advanced filtration system offering reduction of chlorine taste and odors, lead, and removes 99.99% of cysts for consistent healthier*, great-tasting water.

The Brita® Hydration Station™ easily hooks up to a municipal water line and includes a 2,500 gallon capacity Brita® filter. The unit is the only NSF/ANSI 53 certified drinking water system on the market. NSF 53 addresses point-of-use systems and certifies that claimed contaminants are filtered out by the system. These contaminants may be present in public or private drinking water. The 2,500 gallon carbon block filter reduces chlorine (taste and odor) and lead, and removes cysts.

Changing the filter is a snap with a simple spin-on motion. The cartridge can be changed without necessitating water shut-off. Simply twist the filter clockwise until it releases and replace with a new Brita® filter by twisting counter-clockwise until tight.

Lead-Free Product

The Brita® Hydration Station™ meets both the AB 1953 and the NSF/ANSI Standard 61 requirements for lead content in drinking water fixtures and plumbing. NSF/ANSI 61 specifically establishes the minimum requirements for chemical contaminants coming from plumbing fixtures that dispense water for human consumption, while AB 1953 mandates that any product that dispenses or conveys drinking water such as pipes, fittings, bubblers, and faucets be lead free in construction.

The unit is a lead-free product meeting requirements defined by NSF/ANSI standard 42 and 53 and California Proposition 65, California AB1953 and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
